Voices I Wrote For isn’t a traditional album, it’s a sketchbook. A songwriter’s experiment in giving words and melodies to voices beyond her own. Some of these tracks I sing myself; others are carried by session singers, chosen to test how my writing holds in different genres and styles.

The songs span wide terrain: a family tribute (Half the Woman You Are), the surrender of trust (Believe in You), an urban rap pull (Orbit), the raw survival of trauma (Learning to Run), beachside playfulness (Mezcal), the ache of a country ballad (Santal Skin), and the smoky ritual of waiting in vain (No Show Tonight). They don’t belong in one lane, and that’s the point, they’re sketches, each trying on a new voice, a new mood, a new skin.

This collection isn’t about glossy production or a single artistic persona. It’s about testing the reach of my pen ; how far these songs can stretch, and how they sound when sung by different mouths, filtered through different genres. Voices I Wrote For is proof of concept: that the words still stand, even when the voices change. I want to thank the Ghost Producers and Session singers for helping put this together.
