It follows someone who keeps returning to the same riverbank every October 10, keeping a promise that the other person has long since broken. The song lives between memory and obsession; that moment when loyalty turns into something ghostlike, but you can’t quite let it go.

Built around a hushed vocal and sparse production, it carries the sound of waiting: the low hum of the Thames, distant cabs, the slow toll of another year gone. It’s not a love song, not exactly , it’s a ritual, a confession, and a refusal to move on.
